Our researchers are based at leading universities and hospitals across the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Every year we invite applications for research grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re able to fund just 15-20% of the 90 or so applications we receive throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To help with the selection process and make sure we\u2019re funding the programmes of the highest standards and most worldwide potential, every application is put through a rigorous selection process. They are scrutinised by a peer review panel, our own scientists and international leaders in relevant fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
