Ian McDermott pledges support for Macmillan in joining his daughters on Thames Path Mighty Hike\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"Ian McDermott, a well known and respected member of the Contact Lens Industry and past president of the ACLM has been “persuaded” by his two daughters to attempt the Thames Path Mighty Hike, taking place on 15th<\/sup> July, He is currently the UK Country Manager of Safilens who exhibited at 100% Optical this year with their groundbreaking myopia retarding soft contact lens.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve decided to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support, and I\u2019d really appreciate any support you can give. “says Ian .<\/p>\n

“I have been \u201cpersuaded\u201d by my two loving daughters to accompany them in the Thames Path Mighty Hike, so we are all in training mode \u2013 it\u2019s a full marathon, but in recognition of my tender years, its at walking pace!!”<\/p>\n
