{"id":42420,"date":"2023-08-09T14:43:04","date_gmt":"2023-08-09T14:43:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mylocaloptician.co.uk\/?p=22605"},"modified":"2023-08-09T14:43:04","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T14:43:04","slug":"vision-action-re-brands-from-vao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bedotdev.com\/mylocaloptician\/vision-action-re-brands-from-vao\/","title":{"rendered":"VISION ACTION Re-brands from VAO"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"aos-init aos-animate\" data-aos=\"fade-up\" data-aos-delay=\"200\"><strong>VISION ACTION Re-brands at Launch Event\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17523\" src=\"https:\/\/primaryhealthnet.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/VisionAction-july.png\" alt=\"Vision Action Eye Charity\" width=\"650\" height=\"268\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Following our announcement last year to rebrand and change from Vision Aid Overseas to Vision Action, we have been overwhelmed with support and decided to mark the occasion by hosting an informal relaunch event in London this July, to raise awareness and highlight the amazing work we have achieved with our partners and funders and the impact that this has on the lives of people with vision loss.<\/p>\n<p>The event took place on Saturday 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0July 2023 at Apothecaries\u2019 Hall in Black Friars Lane in heart of London, were our members, partners, staff and volunteers gathered for an eventful evening of networking and sharing of experiences. The event was jammed packed with insightful presentations, and a lively panel discussion led by the Vision Action Chair, Prof Nora Colton.<\/p>\n<p>James Riggs, Vision Action CEO said, \u201c<em>I\u2019d like to thank everyone who came to support us at our relaunch event at Apothecaries Hall. It was a great opportunity to celebrate our shared history and the work done over the years by Vision Aid Overseas, and by Vision for a Nation, as well as\u00a0to let people know about our new name, branding and our strategy moving forward.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe event was a huge success, and it was great to see our members and volunteers all in one place engaging with our new brand and our plans for the future.
